Meet the Stylist

My name is Twyla, and I was born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina. My passion for hair—especially braiding—began early and has grown into a lifelong career. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2008, am also a licensed hair braider, and a certified loctician, professionally trained by licensed loctician Aishah Bilal-Ali of Hairadox.

As a stylist, I specialize in healthy hair care, microlocs, extensions, and hair growth, with a strong focus on retention, scalp health, and long-term maintenance, including services for individuals experiencing hair loss.

Throughout my career, I have gained experience in brow services, facials, manicures, pedicures, makeup, lashes, and wig creation. While these skills are part of my professional background, my current service offerings are focused exclusively on hair services.

All services are provided from my licensed home salon, where I am professionally certified and legally permitted to operate under my business license. I no longer offer traveling services, allowing me to provide a consistent, professional, and controlled salon environment for every client.

I am honored to serve clients from my hometown of Sumter, South Carolina, as well as clients who travel from Columbia, Charleston, Georgetown, Charlotte, and other surrounding areas. I look forward to welcoming new clients and supporting each individual throughout every stage of their loc journey, from installation to maturity.
